·        You can sell tickets through bloomingtonArts.info.

Each step of the way you’ll have complete instructions on the right side of the screen

Basic Guidelines for Using bloomingtonArts.info         Please also read our Terms of Use.

·        Think “guest friendly” – short, concise, uncluttered.

·        All events must fit into one of our categories. Categories may change over time depending on usage and demand.

·        All published events must be open to the public. If not free, the ticket prices should be posted, as well as how to obtain tickets.

·        All events should occur within the BAAC five-county service area: Monroe, Brown, Greene, Lawrence, or Owen County.   Events in other locations (e.g. Indianapolis) can be listed if they are part of a series of events that takes place in the service area listed above.

·        Collaborative events should not be duplicated on the calendar by each organization.

·        Event locations should be complete from building name and street address to zip code. This is tremendously helpful to newcomers or out-of-towners, and makes it easier for anyone to use MapQuest to get directions.  If your venue is not already listed on the site, please contact the site administrator (support@artlives.org) with venue name, address, and any other important information, and it will be added.

·        All asterisked (*) fields (blanks) must be filled in.

·        Use of all caps is discouraged except for acronyms (considered “shouting” on the web).

·        Titles should be kept short.

·        Include a brief description of your event or activity (2 to 3 lines) for the summary listing.  Radio announcers may use them as public service announcements. More words can be used for the detailed event description.

·        Your event listing may link back to your organizational website, or can be linked to a page on your website that has an in-depth description of the event.

·        Your events should be updated (edited) as changes occur, marked “cancelled” or deleted as necessary.

·        Do not share your username and password with others outside your organization.

·        The post, transmission, promotion or distribution of illegal content is not permitted.

·        Harassment, threats, communications intended to embarrass or to do anything else to another person or institution that is harmful or offensive is not permitted.

·        Communications that is or is intended to be unduly harmful, abusive, racially or ethnically offensive, vulgar, or pornographic is not permitted. Disparaging comments regarding gender, race, ethnicity, color, age, handicap are not permitted.

·        bloomingtonArts.info retains editorial control of all information posted on the site.
